LaLa is Pretty Darn Cool.

I happened upon this great site called LaLa.com while reading about the founder in Business Week or something (yes, I read.). You can list all of your CDs that you don't listen to anymore (my iPod has been sutured to my arm), and for just $1, you can trade your CDs with others. That's cheaper than getting the whole album on iTunes!! Of course, you have to ship CDs to receive, but it's pretty neat. Check mine out...
(You can click on any of the album covers, or the arrows at the botttom to scroll through my whole list, right here on my blog! I love the techmologies.)

While Cruising the InterWebs Today...

...instead of going on a bike ride to lose the most weight and win our Weightloss-apalooza, I came across this great blog, through Crazy Aunt Purl's Q&A post:

http://financialfitness.blogspot.com/

Lots of great financial advice, and how to live frugally. I am sure she frowns upon impulse buys of yarn, but whatever. She's a real woman who is dealing with day to day spending limits. We could all learn a little something.

While reading her blog, I come across this post: What Happens When Cheap Meets Crazy
You guys HAVE to check this out. I thought the guys I've dated have been crazy assholes? This guy takes the cake. It's about a successful New Yorker who met a woman on J-Date (an online dating site for Jewish folk), and the cheapness/crazy that ensues.

This will make you feel better about being single. I sure counted my lucky stars.

Have a great weekend, dear readers, I must get on that bike!!

But, my knitting looks more interesting...

Seriously...

...Elvis has barely licked the yarn...

Ok, new deal. If you take the yarn off my hands, I will make crazy good deal for you. Just you! All day long! Don't forget, I WILL ship it for the crazy low low price of FREE.

Adrienne Vittadini Paloma - Deep Ocean Blue

Crystal Palace Iceland - Icestorm

How can you resist?!

Make me an offer! I am in deal making mode, let me tell ya.

My Thought For The Day

...is it strange that I'm now looking at men the way I look at real estate?

"Hm, nice structure, good location, bad paint and carpet...it's ok,
he's a fixer upper!"

This was a cute, but nerdy and badly dressed guy in line at High Tech Burrito the other day. Would be a total hottie if we went shopping. But really, do I have time for such nonsense?? I don't think so!

Jeez. What is this single life coming to?
